Windies Women Ready To Play “Own Style And Brand Of Cricket” Against Pakistan In ICC Women’s Championship

DUBAI, UAE – The WINDIES Women and Pakistan Women will play each other in the first of three One Day Internationals as part of Round 4 of the ICC Women’s Championship on Thursday February 7 at the Dubai International Stadium.

This historic match will be the first ever women’s cricket match to be hosted at the Dubai International Stadium. The WINDIES Women are coming into the fifty-overs series off a 2-1 T20I series win in Karachi. Captain Stafanie Taylor said this is a confidence booster for the team, however they are not taking anything for granted.

Each match will reward two points to the winner, with a total of six points up for grabs from the 3-match series. Currently, the WINDIES Women are ahead of Pakistan Women by 1 point on the table, as a result of a “No result match” during their last series against South Africa Women.

All matches will be streamed via the Pakistan Cricket Board’s YouTube page. The livestream link will be posted on match days on @windieswomen Twitter and Windies Cricket Facebook page.
