KINGSTON, JAMAICA – The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) warmly congratulates Jamaica’s Women’s team on winning the 2024 CG United Women’s Super50 Cup and T20 Blaze titles.
The Women’s Super50 Cup tournament ran from March 4-13, 2024, and the T20 Blaze tournament, March 17-25, 2024, in St. Kitts. Jamaica’s Women, ably led by captain Stafanie Taylor, won four (4) of five (5) matches in the Super50 Cup and five (5) of five (5) matches in the T20 Blaze in a clear display of dominance over their counterparts.
“WIPA extends warm congratulations to the Jamaica Women’s team and their support staff on taking the Women’s Super50 Cup and T20 Blaze titles. We commend captain Stafanie Taylor and her charges on their consistency throughout both tournaments, and we wish the ladies continued success”, remarked WIPA President and CEO, Wavell Hinds.
West Indies Women will begin their 2024 season with a three-match ODI and five-match T20I series against Pakistan Women in Pakistan in April.
