WIPA is the acronym for the West Indies Players’ Association. WIPA is the authorized, representative and collective voice of all West Indian cricketers, past and present. WIPA is an affiliate of the Federation of International Cricketers Association (FICA) and the exclusive representative and bargaining agent for Players who have been selected for their Territorial Teams and West Indies Cricket Team, including the Retained and U-19 Players. WIPA serves in an advisory capacity to these players in matters relating specifically to their interests and welfare. WIPA is a non-profit organization. |

VISION To act as the collective and representative voice of present First Class cricket players in the Caribbean and to play an integral, professional and high profile role in the on-going development of WI Cricket and cricket players on and off the field by adapting to changing conditions/trends and addressing the needs of our Caribbean stakeholders and the international cricket fraternity. MISSION STATEMENT To act as the collective bargaining agent for present First Class cricket players in the Caribbean, to protect their interests and to improve their welfare in the key areas of: cricket personal development / education financial legal insurance health care benevolent commercial protection of Intellectual Property rights - To pursue initiatives that will ultimately benefit the WIPA membership
- To promote the sport of cricket throughout the Caribbean and diaspora.

- To promote and encourage the development of the game of cricket and its players, utilizing the experience and advice of past players in the Caribbean and diaspora
- To act as a collective and representative voice of first class cricketers in the West Indies.
- To promote and protect the players’ rights and improve their welfare
- To provide advice, services or assistance to its members, where appropriate
- To promote training in leadership, financial management, communications, industrial relations and personal development.
- To develop commercial potential and create off-field partnership programmes to the benefit of players
- To provide communities with access to players, enabling the players to put something back into the game, to enhance coaching and lifestyle skills and to develop career and income opportunities
- To promote a positive, constructive and harmonious relationship with the West Indies Cricket Board ( WICB ) and all cricketing publics in the Caribbean
- To promote orderly collective bargaining relations between WICB and WIPA as well as an effective machinery for settling disputes
- To provide and maintain standards for remuneration and working conditions, and determine the terms and conditions of engagement of players
- To do all possible to maintain a high work ethic/attitude of the West Indies Team to redound to the pleasure and benefit of the Caribbean public.
