WIPA Extends Sympathies and Best Wishes to Mervyn Dillon and Family

KINGSTON, JAMAICA – The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) expresses sympathies and best wishes to former West Indies bowler, Mervyn Dillon and family. 

Dillon’s daughter, Merelle, a student pilot, and her instructor were injured in an emergency landing at Piarco International Airport, Trinidad on Tuesday, October 19, and were transported to the Arima Medical Facility. Young Dillon is said to be in stable condition.

WIPA President and CEO, Wavell Hinds expressed, “On behalf of our membership, executive and staff we want to extend our sympathies and best wishes to Mervyn, Merelle, Merelle’s instructor and their families. We pray for a speedy and complete recovery.”
