KINGSTON, JAMAICA – The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) congratulates the West Indies Women’s ODI team on a dominant ODI series win over Ireland.
The One Day International series against Ireland culminated on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, with the West Indies Women staging a three-nil series sweep over the Irish, boasting dominant victories in all three games; the first by nine wickets, the second by six wickets, and the third by 64 runs. West Indies Women scored over 200 runs in all three games, with both captain Hayley Matthews and former captain Stafanie Taylor notching two consecutive centuries in the series, the first and second West Indies women respectively to accomplish the feat. The series also saw Stafanie Taylor reach the milestone of 10,000 international runs, the first West Indies woman to do so.
