West Indies T20I Blockbuster Weekend In St. Kitts

ST JOHN’S, Antigua – Cricket fans in St Kitts and Nevis are being urged to grab tickets for the upcoming Sandals Resorts T20I Series between West Indies and Ireland. Warner Park is set to host back-to-back matches this coming weekend and over-the-counter tickets sales are set to start on Wednesday morning (January 15) from 9am at the Warner Park Box Office.

Tickets range in price from US$5.50 (EC$15) to US$15 (EC$40).

Special offers have been allocated for senior citizens and children and Cricket West Indies anticipate fans will be eager to snap up tickets.

  • Senior citizens –aged 60 and over – on presentation of a form of national photo identification at local box offices are eligible for free tickets while stocks last for both matches.
  • Tickets for children aged 12 and under are free with the purchase of an adult ticket. Fans can also visit the CWI website, www.windiescricket.com, to make their online ticket purchases through the “Buy Tickets” button.

CWI’s Commercial Director, Dominic Warne said:

“The West Indies team has started 2020 on a high and this weekend promises to be blockbuster with two action-packed T20I matches at Warner Park. This is a golden opportunity for the local fans to see their heroes and future West Indies stars in action as we start the road to the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia where we are defending T20 World Champions. We’re looking forward to fans rallying round the team in the first T20I action of the year, to come out and see the best players under the lights on Saturday and Sunday night.”

West Indies have dominated the matches against so far, claiming a 3-0 clean sweep in the three-match Colonial Medical Insurance One-Day International Series. The first match of the Sandals Resorts T20I Series will be played at the Grenada National Stadium on Wednesday. First ball is 1pm (12 noon Jamaica Time).
