Following the final of the men’s 50 Over World Cup at Lord’s, FICA’s Executive Chairman, Tony Irish, commented:

“On behalf of cricketers around the world, FICA congratulates the England and New Zealand players on one of the most remarkable games in cricketing and World Cup history.”

“It was a game played in an incredible spirit, at the home of cricket, and both teams should be proud of the way they played and conducted themselves.”
