A night filled with awards and speeches, The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA), in collaboration with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB), held its third annual players’ awards ceremony at the Jamaica Pegasus on Tuesday. Players from the West Indies First Class team were honoured for their efforts in the year 2014. The WICB and WIPA ensured their star players were wined, dined and given acknowledgement in different categories, from Cricketer of the Year to Regional 4-day Team of the Year.
Sitting with the legends of cricket like Sir Wesley Hall, Sir Everton Weeks, Sir Curtly Ambrose and Sir Andy Roberts, guests were pleased to meet and greet during the evening’s affair.
