KINGSTON, JAMAICA – The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) congratulates the Trinidad and Tobago Legions on winning the inaugural Breakout League title.
The Trinidad and Tobago Legions won the final by 17 runs on Saturday, May 10, 2025, defeating the Leeward Islands Thunder. The Legions had dominated the tournament to top the group stage and progress straight to the final.
“Congratulations to the Trinidad and Tobago Legions on taking the inaugural Breakout League title. Best wishes to the team’s management, support staff, and players for the future,” remarked WIPA President and CEO, Wavell Hinds. “I extend warm congratulations as well to the youngsters who scored the most runs and took the most wickets in this competition. We look forward to continued good performances on the bigger stage,” Hinds added.
