WIPA Congratulates Guyana On 2025 Women’s T20 Blaze Title

KINGSTON, JAMAICA – The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) heartily congratulates the Guyana senior women’s team on winning the 2025 Women’s T20 Blaze title, their first ever regional title.

Guyana Women won the contest against Jamaica Women in a super-over on Sunday, May 11, 2025, at Arnos Vale in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Victory in the final followed Guyana’s display of dominance throughout the tournament, winning matches in four of five rounds to top the group stage.

WIPA President and CEO, Wavell Hinds, expressed, “Congratulations to the Guyana senior women’s team on claiming the 2025 Women’s T20 Blaze title. We celebrate your very first regional title with you and we wish the team’s management, support staff, and players continued success.”
