Unchanged West Indies asked to bat first

Toss: Mahendra Singh Dhoni, the India captain, won the toss and opted to field in the second Twenty20 International between West Indies and India in Lauderhill, Florida on Sunday (August 28).

Series: West Indies won the first T20I on Saturday by one run after Dwayne Bravo dismissed Dhoni off the last ball in a match that had a record run-aggregate of 489 runs, and India now need to win this game and level the series to retain their No.2 ranking.

MS Dhoni: It is always a new game. You take the positives from the last few games we have played. We know the areas we have to improve upon.

Conditions: It’s bright and sunny, but rain later on can’t be entirely ruled out. The pitch at Lauderhill has often produced scores on the higher side, the last game recording an aggregate of 489 runs – the highest-ever in the history of T20 cricket.
