WIPA Expresses Condolences and Salutations at the Passing of Anthony Harford

KINGSTON, JAMAICA – The executive, membership and staff of the West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) expresses condolences and salutations at the passing of Anthony ‘Tony’ Harford.

A native of Trinidad & Tobago, Anthony Harford was a well-known and well-loved sports broadcaster and sports administrator. Over the years, he assisted with the marketing, sponsorship, promotion and development of various sports including the West Indies men’s and age group teams. Mr. Harford passed away on December 3, 2021, at the age of 68 after ailing for some time.

“WIPA expresses our sincere condolences to Mr. Harford’s family and friends, as well as to the cricketing and media fraternities, especially in Trinidad & Tobago, and we salute him for his years of service to cricket and sports in general. May his soul rest in peace and light perpetually shine upon him,” – WIPA President and CEO, Wavell Hinds.
