JOHN’S, Antigua: The West Indies Players’ Association held its Annual General Meeting at the Halcyon Cove by Rex Resorts in Antigua on February 7, 2017.
Members were engaged in healthy but cordial discussions on various topical issues. The incumbent executive board members were returned unopposed. Wavell Hinds will be serving in his successive third term unopposed as president. The other returning board members are as follows: Vice President, Mr Nixon McLean; Honourary Secretary, Mr Wayne Lewis; Honourary Treasurer, Mr Ridley Jacobs and Honourary Assistant Secretary, Mr Liam Sebastien.
The newly appointed board will serve another two (2) years as per WIPA’s by-laws. President Hinds speaking on behalf of his board vowed to continue to work for the development, welfare and benefit of all WIPA members.
