Red Force starts Super50 prep

The T&T Red Force cricket team will begin preparations for next year’s Regional Super50 this week, when they host two trial matches before the Christmas holidays.

A team led by allrounder Imran Khan will come up against one led by Yannic Carriah in two games carded for the National Cricket Centre (NCC) on December 21 and 23.

The matches of 50 overs duration will give the players a much needed break from the four-day rigours of the PCL. Red Force has been less than impressive in this format suffering two heavy defeats in their last two home matches at the Brian Lara Academy in Tarouba.
