WIPA Conveys Condolences at Passing of Herman Bennett Snr.

KINGSTON, Jamaica– The West Indies Players’ Association (WIPA) would like to express condolences to the family and friends of Herman Bennett Snr., a former Jamaican cricketer who played between 1964 and 1970.

Bennett, a right-handed middle-order batsman, played eleven first-class matches for Jamaica and amassed 369 runs. Bennett, born December 22, 1939 in St. Catherine, Jamaica, was 79 years at the time of his passing.

WIPA President and CEO, Wavell Hinds, states “The WIPA executive, management and staff would like to express sincere condolences to Mr. Bennett’s family and friends and we pray for peace and strength for them at this time”.
