Re: West Indies Players Association/Cricket Australia Level One Coaching Certification Course

The West Indies Players Association (WIPA) in collaboration with Cricket Australia will be hosting a Level One Coaching Certification Programme at the Kensington Cricket Club, Kingston Jamaica. The event will be staged from Monday October 27th to Tuesday October 28th beginning at 9 a.m. each day and ending at 4 p.m.

The aim of the course is to give players an opportunity to become certified coaches which we hope will impact their lives during and after cricket.

The workshop will be conducted by Mr. Darren Holder from Cricket Australia and Mr. Robert Samuels, West Indies Under 19 Coach.

The workshop will consist of 17 players (past and present) who will be taught the practical and theoretical aspects of a level one coach.

This initiative is the first of its kind by WIPA, with an aim of offering the course to other cricketers in the other territories.
