Haiti Charity MatchHis Excellency President George Richards has kindly agreed to meet the players of both teams before the start of the fund-raising match for the earthquake victims in Haiti. The national cricket teams of Guyana and Trinidad and Tobago will participate in the game at the Queen’s Park Oval on Wednesday January 20, 2010 starting at 6.30 p.m. His Excellency will be accompanied by his wife, Her Excellency Dr. Jean Ramjohn-Richards.

 

The organizers of this event- the West Indies Players’ Association, the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board and the Guyana Cricket Board- are particularly pleased that Their Excellencies have made themselves available to lend support to this humanitarian cause, in spite of their busy schedule and the shortness of the invitation.
