Gayle Hundred sets Jamaica on Course for Victory

Chris Gayle hit an amazing 165 to set Jamaica up with an excellent chance of victory on day 2 of their regional four-day match against Windward Islands at Sabina Park.

 

Jamaica closed on 262 for 7 with Gayle holding his own against Shane Shillingford (4-66) and Nelon Pascal (2-52).

 

The four-time defending champions now lead by 283 after bowling out the Windward Islands for 159.

Narine Headlines as four WIndies players sold in IPL auction

Four West Indies players have been picked up by IPL teams during the 2012 auction in Bangalore on Saturday.

 

Trinidad and Tobago's Sunil Narine was secured for US$700,000 by the Kolkata Knight Riders, while Andre Russell, Darren Bravo and Kevon Cooper were also successfully auctioned.
